At the foothills of Mount Parnassus, within one of Greece’s most storied cultural landmarks, the renovation of the Archaeological Museum of Delphi's gift shop called for a quiet yet confident intervention—one that would respectfully serve both the setting and the objects it holds.
The design centres around a bespoke modular joinery system, tailored to accommodate the diverse needs of contemporary museum retail. Metal, timber, glass, and light come together in a harmonious balance, offering a versatile language of display—shelves, plinths, hangers, and glazed cabinets—each designed to frame the products with clarity and care.
By opening up the internal layout, the space invites flow and visibility, transforming the visitor’s path into a curated experience. Products are no longer hidden but thoughtfully revealed—presented with the same attention that the museum gives to its artefacts.
The result is a quiet transformation: a space of light and order, where design elevates both function and perception—delivering a high-end retail experience within a deeply historic context.
